Bulldogs to collect money for Bushfires Appeal at Canterbury Races

Members of the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs will help to raise funds for the Bushfire Appeal this Friday evening by taking buckets around at Canterbury Racecourse during the evening meeting.

The Bulldogs, along with the Canterbury League Club, have already donated $50 000 to the appeal and will head to Port Macquarie on Saturday 29 February to help raise further funds, with activities planned around their trial match against the Canberra Raiders.

All fans are encouraged to come along on Friday night to the Canterbury Races (King St, Canterbury), with Bulldogs players Nick Meaney, Joe Stimson, Jack Cogger and Dean Britt collecting money between 6 and 7pm.

The players will also be available for photos and autographs during this time and children are welcome to come down and take part in the passing activation that will be available.

We look forward to seeing you there on Friday to add your contribution to this worthy cause and to help the players raise as much money as possible.
