Chris Smith re-signs with the Bulldogs until the end of 2021

The Bulldogs have continued their strategy of creating depth in their squad by re-signing former Rooster, Chris Smith, until the end of the 2021 season.

The 25 year-old back rower, has impressed everyone at Belmore with his hard running style and ability to play vital minutes in the starting line-up or from the bench.

Smith appeared in 20 matches for the Bulldogs last season and was a vital part of their end of year success.

Bulldogs Chief Executive Andrew Hill saw Smith as a great fit at the club:

"Chris is the sort of competitor that we want here at the club. He adds something every time that he takes the field and he has become a vital part of our forward pack.

In recent weeks we have been able to lock up a number of players for the future and Chris is a major part of that strategy to create depth in all the key positions in our squad.

We look forward to seeing Chris continue to develop next season."
