Steve James works with promising youngsters in Tamworth

The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs have looked to assist in the development of promising players in the country by attending the Greater Northern Rugby League Camp in Tamworth last weekend.

The camp involved over 70 youngsters from a range of areas that included Muswellbrook, Narrabri, Moree and Glen Innes and took place over two days. Coaches were also included in the activities as part of a program to assist in developing skill drills and techniques used during training sessions.

Weekly satellite training sessions will be held at Aberdeen, Tamworth and Glen Innes during the program with a fortnightly session held at the most central venue of Tamworth.

The squads will train throughout summer and will play in the 2020 Laurie Daley Cup (18 years) and Andrew Johns Cup (16 years) NSWRL Country competitions.
