Kieran Foran Injury Update

Kieran Foran will require re-constructive surgery on the shoulder that he injured while representing New Zealand at the weekend.

Kieran had scans on his shoulder yesterday and will require initial exploratory surgery to determine the full extent of the injury.

The potential recovery period is likely to be six months, although this could be longer dependent on the results of the initial surgery.

Bulldogs Chief Executive Andrew Hill said that the club was fully behind Kieran in making sure that he received the best possible support during his rehabilitation:

"The news is incredibly disappointing for both Kieran and the Bulldogs, especially as he has worked so hard to get back on to the field.

The club will make sure that Kieran receives the best possible medical support during surgery and his rehabilitation and will continue to monitor his recovery and potential return date.

Kieran is part of the Bulldogs family and we will make sure that he and his family receive everything they need during this time."
