2019 end-of-season Tests schedule

International rugby league is still not over for 2019 with Great Britain to play Papua New Guinea in the final leg of their tour of the southern hemisphere.

A Trans-Tasman double-header in Wollongong started the end-of-season festivities with women's and men's clashes on Friday after the Junior Kangaroos played France. Australia completed a clean sweep with the under 23s, Jillaroos and Kangaroos recording wins.

The touring Great Britain side broke its 11-year Test absence with a Test against Tonga on October 26 in Hamilton but were beaten in an upset result by the South Pacific kingdom.

Fans enjoyed a triple treat on November 2 with Samoa upset by Fiji, the Kangaroos going down to Tonga in historic circumstances and the Kiwis getting the better of Great Britain at Eden Park.

On November 9 the Papua New Guinea side lost a close one to Fiji, while the Kiwis ran out 23-8 winners over Great Britain in the second match at Christchurch.

To cap off the end-of-year Test schedule, Papua New Guinea play the Lions before what's sure to be a passionate crowd in Port Moresby on November 16.
