The Bulldogs took the honours over the Roosters thanks to a Matt Utai try in the last minute of the game. Utai collected a pass from Brent Sherwin and stepped pass Todd Byrne before pushing his way past Brett Finch, Anthony Minichiello and Justin Hodges to claim the matchwinner.
