Josh Jackson's textbook tackle at Suncorp Stadium last Thursday night has earned him Tackle of the Week honours for Round 18.

The effort - which reminded many of Scott Sattler's tackle on Todd Byrne in the 2003 grand final - earned Jackson half of the total votes.

There wasn't a lot between the three other contenders.

Melbourne's Nelson Asofa-Solomona finished slightly ahead of Canberra centre Jarrod Croker and Dragons winger Mikaele Ravalawa.
