Shaun Summers meets his heroes

In the lead up to the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs round 17 match against the Newcastle Knights, Bulldogs fan Shaun Summers was invited to the final training session in Newcastle to meet the players and staff.

Shaun is a 32-year old supporter from Kurri Kurri who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease at the age of 21.

He attends Witmore Disability Services in Singleton to integrate into the community and gain assistance in independent living.

Shaun’s biggest passions are music and the Bulldogs. He watches every game and even has a Bulldogs tattoo.

Adam Elliott presented Shaun with a signed jersey from the entire team at the conclusion of the training session, as well as being given the opportunity to meet his heroes and grab photos with his favourite players.
