Members share their game day experiences

The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs Round 12 fixture against the Raiders was dedicated to our members.

Members Appreciation Round is about celebrating and rewarding our 2019 Members for their loyal support throughout the season with plenty of experiences on offer during game day.

This year Members were given the opportunity to be on the field to watch the team warm up, toss the coin, deliver the match ball prior to kick-off, sit in the player enclosure to watch the game, sit in the KIA sideline seats, upgrade their seats to the centreline, meet the players inside the tunnel as they arrive at the game and form the guard of honour as the players ran out onto ANZ Stadium for their clash with the Canberra Raiders.

Despite the result, the Members who were lucky enough to win these experiences were very appreciative of the night they had.

Member James Shellshear was lucky enough to sit in the player enclosure with his family.

“Thank you so much for the opportunity we had to sit in the player enclosure on Saturday night. Despite the result, we had a wonderful time and Benjamin hasn't stopped talking about it. We continue to love what you offer the fans in the way of access to the players and family events at home games and at other functions. We're always proud to be Bulldog supporters and look forward once again to seeing the players in action this long weekend against the St George Illawarra Dragons.”

Member Steve Giudice upgraded his membership to centreline seats for the game.

“Just want to say thanks again for the tickets last week. Took my two kids to the game and although we didn’t get the win, we all had a great night.”

Member Mike Doyle experienced the pup walk with his kids where they get to meet the players as they arrived at ANZ Stadium.

I just wanted to say thank you so much for the Pup Walk.  We really appreciated it.  It was truly a once off experience, and a great time to see the boys in their “native” habitat.  I really enjoyed it - as did James and Sophie.

I think you guys are doing really well at connecting with local fans this year and just wanted to say congratulations. I’ve noticed it in several areas:

1. We’ve had Jack Cogger join us at the Berala Bears training several times this year.  This is gold.  It lifts the boys and the whole club.  There’s an excitement in the air and when they come, we feel like we are part of the Bulldogs family.

2. My oldest son (Calvin) has been attending the Peter Moore Academy on Monday evenings.  It’s been a wonderful experience and to have your coaches coaching our boys is just a huge boost.  Thank you so much for that!

3.  And of course the Pup Walk. How exciting. Thanks again for the experience!
