NSWRL announces NSW Under-18s Men's squad

The NSWRL is pleased to announce the CABE NSW Under-18s Men’s squad to face Queensland in the lead-up to the opening Holden State of Origin game at Suncorp Stadium on June 5.

The 20-man squad will be coached by True Blue Michael Ennis and includes the most talented rising stars in the game who will be looking to pursue Rugby League careers in the NRL.

The squad includes four players from the Illawarra Steelers’ premiership-winning UNE SG Ball Cup team and six players from Grand Finalists Manly Warringah Sea Eagles including Player of the Series Joshua Schuster.

The squad will come into camp on Friday 31 May and train at the NSWRL Centre of Excellence before departing for Brisbane on Monday 3 June.

Six players from the squad will also be involved in a Junior Blues Positional Specific Training Session with Brydens Lawyers NSW Blues Assistant Coach Danny Buderus and True Blues Mark O'Meley, Willie Mason, Luke Lewis and Beau Scott at the NSWRL Centre of Excellence on Wednesday 22 May. 

Ennis will be hoping to continue the success of the NSW Under-18s team which has won the past three consecutive matches against Queensland.
