The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs walked away with one victory and three defeats from the various NSWRL competitions last weekend.
On Saturday, the club’s Harold Matthews and SG Ball teams both featured in the opening weekend of the finals series with the 16s going down to the Newcastle Knights and the 18s claiming a win over the Cronulla Sharks.
Both sides will appear in the second week of the finals this weekend.
On Saturday afternoon, the club's Jersey Flegg team suffered their first defeat of the 2019 season, going down to the St George Illawarra Dragons 30-14 at WIN Stadium.
In the Canterbury Cup, the Dragons hosted the Bulldogs at Jubilee Stadium and it was the home team that emerged victorious with a 28-14 win to earn their second win of the season.
