Peter Moore Bulldogs Academy Kicks-Off

The Peter Moore Bulldogs Academy was officially launched at Belmore Sports Ground last night.

Headed by NRL coach Dean Pay and his football staff, the Academy participation program will embark on a new era of professionalism and service to our junior league by placing a greater importance on participation and the development of core rugby league skills.

The opening night saw more than 150 kids attend and take part in a number of training drills including, catch and pass, tackle technique, evasion, agility and modified games.

The session was led by Bulldogs Pathways Performance Manager Andrew Patmore, Canterbury Cup Coach Brad Henderson, Skills Development Coach Steve James and SG Ball assistant coach Frank Pritchard.

The academy will be held every Monday for the next eight weeks and will focus on up-skilling and the development of junior league players and coaches in the local area.
