Vunivalu suspended and Ogden free to play

Melbourne Storm winger Suliasi Vunivalu will serve a one-match ban after pleading guilty to a grade two dangerous contact charge for a leg pull on Bulldogs fullback Nick Meaney in Sunday's game at AAMI Park.

The incident took place in the 10th minute of the Storm's 18-16 win. Vunivalu was facing the prospect of a two-week ban if the challenged the charge and lost.

Meanwhile, Bulldogs forward Ofahiki Ogden pleaded guilty to a dangerous contact charge but will avoid suspension.
