Four home-grown artists have been locked in to give rugby league fans live entertainment across the four days of NRL's Magic Round at Suncorp Stadium.
A.R.C., who performed at the 2016 Dally M Awards, are set to open the series of performances on Thursday night, before ARIA award-winning band Sheppard take the stage on Friday.
Gold Coast products Stafford Brothers feature on Saturday night to hype up fans for the triple-header, with The Preatures scheduled to be the final musical act on Sunday.
NRL chief commercial officer Andrew Abdo said the game’s historic Magic Round was the perfect occasion to showcase some of the best musical talent from Down Under.
"Magic Round is unique and it is all about entertainment," Abdo said.
"It will be a wonderful opportunity to showcase the incredible talent our game possesses but also some of the wonderful artists this country possesses.
"We have hand-picked these artists to enable us to create a festival-like atmosphere across the four days."
Sheppard and David Middleton from supergroup A.R.C. (Antipodean Rock Collective) and originally from Powderfinger, hail from Brisbane, while The Preatures are Sydney born and bred.
George Sheppard said he and his two sisters were thrilled to be headlining in front of a home crowd at Suncorp on Friday May 10.
"Having the first ever NRL Magic Round in our home town is incredibly exciting for us and for Amy (Sheppard), Emma (Sheppard), and I to be asked to perform makes it all the better," George Sheppard said.
"We're huge NRL fans and there's nothing like the atmosphere of being at Suncorp Stadium.
"We'll have our game faces on when we step on stage to entertain the fans, and don't be surprised if we’re sporting our favourite teams' colours too."
