Bulldogs NSWRL Results

The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs walked away with four victories and two defeats from the various NSWRL competitions last weekend.

On Saturday, the club’s Harold Matthews and SG Ball teams both registered strong victories over the Western Suburb Magpies with the 16s making it three victories in row following their 46-8 win to be sitting in fourth position on the ladder, while the 18s recorded a strong 32-10 win which puts the Bulldogs in seventh position on their ladder.

On Sunday, the club's Jersey Flegg and Canterbury Cup teams both recorded their second victories of the season.

The Under 20s off the back of a Frank Kuresa double and an impressive first half were able to stop a fast finishing Tigers outfit and walk away from Campbelltown Stadium with a 38-24 win, while the club’s reserve grade team came from behind to finish with a two-point win over Wests Magpies.

In the women’s competitions, the Bulldogs went down to the Wests Tigers in round eight of the Tarsha Gale 32-6 and were beaten by the South Sydney Rabbitohs in the second game of the Harvey Norman Women’s premiership, 18-4.
