Bulldogs 2019 Canterbury Cup Draw Released

The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs Canterbury Cup side will kick off the season with four away games in the opening five rounds as they look to defend their title.

The reigning premiers and National State Champions will once again be looking to play finals football this year under new coach, Brad Henderson in the new-look competition officially launched by New South Wales Rugby League this week.

Round 1 of the Canterbury Cup will kick off on March 16 when the Bulldogs face the New Zealand Warriors at Mt Smart Stadium prior to the NRL fixture before returning to Belmore Sports Ground in Round 2 to host Wentworthville Magpies on March 24.

The Bulldogs will feature in nine clashes ahead of the club’s NRL side during the season with home games in rounds 11, 15 and 20 as well as away clashes in rounds one, three, five, eight, 17 and 22.

The 2019 Canterbury Cup Grand Final will be played at the new, state-of-the-art Bankwest Stadium after a five-year agreement was locked in with the venue, with the Bulldogs set for a home game there in round 20 against the Penrith Panthers.

Channel Nine and pay TV network FOX Sports will both against broadcast in 2019, with matches featuring in a regular 1pm Sunday spot on Channel Nine and FOX broadcasting matches on Saturdays.
