Bulldogs finalise their squad for 2019

Under the terms of the CBA between the NRL and RLPA, each club is required to have the contracts of a minimum of 24 players registered by November 1. Clubs then have until March 1 to register 29 players and June 30 to finalise their top 30 squad.

The Bulldogs have now finalised their roster with the announcement of Dylan Napa joining the club on a three-year deal.

Napa arrives at Belmore from the Sydney Roosters and will commence training with his new teammates later in the week.

Napa: The first challenge is to earn the respect from the playing group

The current NRL contracted squad stands at 29 players with one spot still available and following a roster overhaul at the end of the 2018 season, the Bulldogs have added Nick Meaney, Jack Cogger, Sauaso Sue, Corey Harawira-Naera and Christian Crichton, along with Dylan Napa to the club.

Local juniors Brandon Wakeham and Jayden Okunbor have also been elevated to the top squad for the up and coming season.

The Bulldogs are pleased to announce Tui Katoa, Morgan Harper, James Roumanos and Jarred Anderson as the club's development players for this season.

Every club is allowed three to six development players every year outside of their top 30 NRL squad. The players train full-time and previously were not eligible to play first grade without an exemption from the NRL.

A change in the rule this season will allow any player on the development list to play NRL without exemption permission post June 30.
