Bulldogs defend Legends of League title

Relive all the action of the 2019 Legends of League tournament from Gosford on Saturday, as it was broadcast live via the NRL Facebook account.

Six teams lined up for the second annual tournament - defending champions Canterbury, Brisbane, Newcastle, Manly, Parramatta and the Barbarians.

The Bulldogs beat the Barbarians 27-14 in the grand final.

"Everyone went to a new level. Last year was a bit unknown, but today they were some tough games," Canterbury captain Andrew Ryan said.

"You do get out there and try and compete. Our little phrase was 'don't embarrass ourselves, don't get injured'."

Matty Bowen and Amos Roberts turned back the clock for the Barbarians in the grand final while Sam Perrett, Daniel Holdsworth and Tony Grimaldi starred as the Bulldogs ran out comfortable winners in the end.
