Bulldogs Jersey Flegg too good for Dragons

The Canterbury- Bankstown Bulldogs Jersey Flegg team produced a huge second half on Friday night to chase down the seventh placed St George Dragons at Kogarah in what turned out to be a fast and physical game.

The Bulldogs eventually triumphed by 32-30.

The second half comeback was on the back of a more aggressive approach to defence which overshadowed the Bulldogs first half effort.

Javvier Pitovao, was a standout for the Flegg side, running some great lines in attack and was rewarded with a try for his efforts. It was his effort in defence that really impressed the coaching staff, though, and he has been consistently one of their best performers in their last three wins.

Kayne Kalache was also strong on the night and was well backed up by Dalton Smith and Alex Seve. Seve had a hand in several of the teams tries on the night.

*The Jersey Flegg will take on the Manly Sea Eagles this Saturday at Lottoland at 1:10pm.
