Wakeham Called in for Frawley

The Canterbury- Bankstown Bulldogs Intrust Super Premiership squad are facing the Dragons this Saturday at WIN Stadium, 12:45pm.

The Bulldogs will be looking to make it four wins in a row as they aim to secure a finals spot.

Brandon Wakeham will make his Intrust Super Premiership debut after Matt Frawley was called in to theNRL squad on Thursday night and he will now partner Josh Cleeland in the halves.

Greg Eastwood will also play against the Dragons after getting through 22 minutes of work in the Bulldogs 36-22 win over the Brisbane Broncos at ANZ Stadium.

Despite the changes head coach Steve Georgallis says the key this week for his side, is defence especially with how close the competition is at this stage of the season.

"We're only in front of St George the team we play this week on for and against. It's really important that you defend as many points as you can in this grade."

Georgallis is happy with the defensive efforts over the last few weeks and will like it to continue towards the back-end of the season.

"There's been a few changes in the last few weeks and I'm really happy with how the defence has been going."
