The Bulldogs recently had seven players and four staff members complete three subjects of their Certificate IV as part of their Community Services Qualification.
Players who participated included Will Hopoate, Ray Faitala-Mariner, Marcelo Montoya, Asipeli Fine, Ofahiki Ogden, Francis Tualau and Jayden Okunbor.
After completing a short TAFE course called Introduction to Youth Work, they then added another short course last year called Pathway to Community Services. All subjects count towards their Cerficate IV in Community Services.
The course was delivered by Granville TAFE teacher Robyn Minici here at Belmore Sports Ground.
The players who are undertaking the course have a desire to work with young people and make a difference in their lives.
They would like to be positive role-models and support young people in reaching their full potential.
The players completed three more Community Services subjects last year and will continue towards their Certificate IV in Community Services.
Be there at Belmore on Saturday when we take on the Canberra Raiders.
