Former Bulldogs U21 player Greg Buckley will present the 18th man jersey to a Member on the field at Belmore Sportsground before Saturday night's match against the Raiders.

A promising fullback, Greg was knocked unconscious in a tackle in a match against St George in 1988. In a coma for 40 days, and with his family maintaining a vigil by his hospital bed, Greg, quite remarkably awoke on Grand Final Day, sat up in bed and watched Canterbury defeat Balmain on television.

Greg, who played eleven games in total in 1987 in U21's, U23's and Reserve Grade, is a current member of the Bulldogs Ambassador Club.

Be there on Saturday at Belmore Sports Ground when we take on the Canberra Raiders.
