The Bulldogs Jersey Flegg team had a solid win in their catch up game against the North Sydney Bears this morning.
After a slow start which saw the Bears score early off a clever kick, the Dogs clicked into gear and hit back with three unanswered tries to take a 16-6 lead into the break.
Penalties dominated the second half but the Dogs were good enough to capitalise with another three tries to seal the 30-6 win.
Kayne Kalache was dominant up front for the Dogs, while youngsters Matt Doorey and SG Ball Captain Ryan Gray (on debut) were strong also and both scored two tries each.
Tries: 6 - Ryan Gray (on debut) x2, Matt Doorey x2, Frank Kuresa & Alex Seve; Conversions: 3 - Brandon Wakeham
Jersey Flegg will take on the Mounties next Saturday, July 7 at Belmore Sports Ground, 3:30pm.
