Canterbury Bulldogs players called in to Hammondville Public School on Monday as part of their Schools Blitz to present the kids with a new set of jerseys.

Hammondville Public School are involved in all NRL programs, with teachers committed to rugby league and student participation.

The providing of jerseys was part of the Bulldogs in the Community Kit Up Our Schools program, which will see the club, in conjunction with Canterbury Clothing Company (CCC), provide five local school teams with new sets of jerseys in 2018.

For schools to be eligible, they must have a rugby league program in place and the jerseys for their school team are required to be more than five years old.

The schools will be identified by NRL Game Development Officers.
