Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs prop Sam Kasiano, is to leave the club at the end of the season after signing a three year contract to join the Melbourne Storm.

The 2012, Dally M Prop of the Year and Samoan International, originally made his debut for the Bulldogs in the 2011 season, when he played in nineteen matches and was named Rookie of the Year.

He is renowned as one of the hardest running props in the game with great natural skills with the ball.

Bulldogs Chief Executive Raelene Castle expressed her gratitude for the role Kasiano had played with the club: "Sam has been a fantastic part of the Bulldogs family in recent years. He was a major force in our pack with his destructive running and ability to offload in traffic. We are sad to see him leave, but we also realise that this three year deal with the Storm is a wonderful opportunity for both Sam and his family. We wish him all the best in the next stage of his career."
