There are a lot of misconceptions about retired greyhounds and many people don't realise what great pets they make.
Greyhounds are very low maintenance and easy-going dogs. They sleep up to 20 hours a day and only need one or two 20 minute walks a day. They also rarely bark and don't shed a lot of hair which makes them great indoor dogs.
