Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs halfback Matt Frawley has been called into the Country Origin team as 19th man.

The 22-year old received the news on Thursday night and will make his way to Mudgee on Friday morning to join Bulldogs teammate Adam Elliott and the Country side.

Only five games into his NRL career, Frawley has been super impressive and has been an integral part of the Bulldogs recent form which includes four victories from the past five games.

It will be a bittersweet affair at Mudgee's Glen Willow Regional Sports Stadium this weekend as over 100 years of history comes to an end with the last Country v City game to be played for the final time.
