Storm trio Will Chambers, Cameron Munster and Cheyse Blair have all been charged by the NRL Match Review Committee after their side's 12-6 win over the Bulldogs at Belmore.
Chambers has been charged with grade one contrary conduct for his role in starting a melee. This charge carries a $1,500 fine, reduced to $1,100 with an early guilty plea.
Munster has been charged with grade one tripping, a charge that also incurs a $1,500 fine under the new judiciary system. Munster can also have his fine reduced to $1,100 with an early guilty plea.
Blair was charged with a grade one dangerous throw for a lifting tackle on Bulldogs five-eighth Josh Reynolds in the 69th minute of the match. The base penalty for this charge is 100 points, but Blair has a 20 per cent loading for a prior non-similar offence in the past two years, taking his total points to 120. This can be reduced to 90 points with an early guilty plea meaning Blair would not miss a match.
An early guilty plea reduces the penalty by 25 per cent.
A player receives a one game ban for every 100 points they accrue. Blair's points will be reduced by five points per match, provided he does not receive further charges.
