Kerrod Holland was amongst the action in Hobart for the Bulldogs victory against the Melbourne Storm in their second trial match and encourages fans to get out to Belmore to support the boys in Round One.

Fuelling the fire, the Bulldogs have failed to register a win at their spiritual home ground since the victory over the Storm in Round 16 of the 2015 season and the outside back is looking forward to kick starting the 2017 campaign in front of a packed house at the new timeslot of 6pm.

“I know all the boys enjoy playing at Belmore and we really encourage all the members to get out there for Round One and hopefully we’ll put in another good performance the same as what we did here (Hobart),” said Holland.

Holland impressed throughout the second trial match successfully kicking four out of the five conversions, which was crucial for victory.

“It was quite nice to see a couple go over the posts. Something I’ve worked hard on over the off-season and hopefully it pays during the season,” he said.

The Bulldogs will host the Melbourne Storm in Round One at Belmore Sports Ground on Friday, March 3 at 6pm.
