The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs have added depth to their forward pack for season 2017, by signing 22 year-old prop Andy Saunders from Penrith.

The former Quirindi Grasshoppers junior (Tamworth), was part of the Penrith NYC team that won the premiership in 2013, and was selected for the Junior Kangaroos the following year.

He was the NYC Team of the Year prop in 2014, as well as playing for the Panthers in their Grand Final win in the State Cup.

His signing comes on the back of the Bulldogs also signing lock Rod Griffin from the Tigers this week.

The forward joined his new teammates today and will look to impress over the coming weeks as the trials begin.
