Francis Tualau will this weekend step out in Bulldogs colours for the first time after joining the club from the Melbourne Storm on a three-year deal.

After a long summer under the watchful eye of Des Hasler, the hard running forward who possess excellent ball skills is looking forward to getting over to Auckland and playing a bit of footy.

“It’s obviously one of the first chances to play some footy and I’m looking forward to it. It’s a fast game with plenty of space,” added Tualau.

The 22-year old will join fellow new recruits Tom Carr and Rhyse Martin this weekend as the Bulldogs look to showcase experience and youth at this year’s Auckland Nines.

The first match for the Blue and Whites during the tournament will be against the Panthers on Saturday, February 4 (10.25am AEDT/12.25pm Local Time)
