The final group of players have returned to Belmore for the pre-season ahead of the 2017 season.
Senior players Josh Morris, Brett Morris, Aiden Tolman, Josh Reynolds and Sam Kasiano have joined the squad for the first time following an eight week break.
“It’s good to be back and it’s the first time I have had eight weeks off,” said Josh Morris.
“The body feels really good. I did a little bit of training over the break and I’m getting married in a couple of weeks, so I have to be in good shape.
“I’m looking forward to the next six weeks.”

While the majority of the squad has been back for two weeks now, the 30 year old with more than 10 pre-seasons under his belt, sees himself as a mentor over the summer.
“My role as one of the senior players will be of a mentor and helping out the young fellas.
“It’s about being a sounding board for them.
“We want to have a close knit group and by the end of this pre-season we want everyone to be good mates, so we’ve got a healthy squad,” added Morris.
With preparations for 2017 underway, the opportunity to see the young kids and new faces impress over the summer gives Morris every indication that there are exciting times ahead for the Bulldogs.
“It’s the unknown at the moment, we’ve got a bit to work on and there are some new faces.
“The pre-season generally sees some talent emerge. It’s always exciting to see the young fellas rip in and maybe push for a start come round one,” Morris said.
Following an extended break, Morris will continue his preparations for season 2017 over the next six weeks under Des Hasler and his coaching staff.
