A snapshot look at what happened at Belmore in the first week of the pre-season.

A host of the Bulldogs 2017 squad returned to training this week at Belmore Sports Ground.

The returning player’s, included a number of the Bulldogs new recruits for 2017, a host of rookies who were members of the club’s NYC side in 2016 and some familiar faces who have all experienced a Des Hasler pre-season.

New Online Retail Store Launched

The first few days of the week saw the players collect their new training gear, undergo medical screenings and testing - which included a Vo2 max test at the New South Wales Institute of Sport, but the first few days was also about getting to know your new teammates.

The back end of the week saw the squad hit the field for some speed and mobility, while in the gym they participated in weights sessions and cardio sessions.

Week two of the pre-season will see the likes of Moses Mbye, Brenko Lee, Josh Jackson and Josh Cleeland join the squad at Belmore as preparations for the 2017 season begin.
