Josh Jackson has been awarded the Bulldogs 2016 Coaches Award.

The back rower had a stellar season, playing 23 games and also the three state of origin matches.

The award capped off a great end to the season for the 25-year-old after he received the Brad Fittler Medal, was named in the NRL Academic Team of the Year and was selected in the PMXIII team to play PNG.

On the field he made 775 tackles (averaged 35 per game) and averaged 12 runs for 95m each week.
