Kerrod Holland has been named the Steve Mortimer, Bulldogs 2016 Rookie of the year.

The Newcastle product became a household name in his first game when he kicked a conversion after the siren to claim victory in Round 2.

After that he continued to grow as a player, playing 14 games, scoring three tries and kicking 39 goals. He kicked at 75% this season.

Came in and out of the side this season but he will hope to secure one of the centre spots full-time in 2017.
