See what Matt Moylan had to say about this year's Finals Series and what chance the Panthers have of winning the Premiership.

on making the finals…

It was a team goal at the start of the year to be back playing finals footy and now that we have it upon us - it’s do or die for us and we’re going to have to work hard each week.

on the Panthers form…

We have had stability in key positions and it has brought a lot of confidence out of a lot of players.

on the Bulldogs…

The key for them is their big boys. They like to play of the back of them and they set the platform for their halves to play off. We know we are going to have to be good around the ruck. I don’t think you can read too much into the way they have played the last couple of weeks. They’re a quality side and we can’t take anyone lightly.

on playing in close games throughout 2016…

I think the pressure of being in tight games throughout the season is going to help us in finals. We’ve got a lot of players that haven’t played finals and haven’t had that experience, but it will certainly bring a lot of excitement to the team and hopefully the confidence we have gained over the last couple of months playing consistent footy will help.

on Nathan Cleary…

He’s definitely got a good temperament on him and he’s very composed. He makes a lot of our jobs a little bit easier with how he manages a game and he’s kicking game has been outstanding for us.

on Will Hopoate missing the final…

I think it’s a massive loss. He’s been there all year and doing a good job for them. He’s been playing some of the best footy he has played.

on playing at Allianz Stadium…

We knew we weren’t going to get a home final at Penrith, but it doesn’t faze us. I just love playing footy and it doesn’t matter where we play.

on captaining a team in the finals…

It will be a new experience. I’m excited at the opportunity and it’s something I wanted to achieve. The challenge ahead is exciting.
