The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs would like to inform all members and fans that the scheduled Holden Cup match against the Cronulla Sharks that was due to be played this afternoon at ANZ stadium, has been postponed.

The fixture was due to start at 4.45pm but due to the severe weather in Sydney over the weekend, the decision has been made to re-schedule the match. A total of 262mm of rain has fallen in Sydney Olympic Park since Friday.

The club will work with both the NRL and the Cronulla Sharks in order to re-schedule the match in the future at a time that suits all parties.

Please note that the NRL clash will go ahead as scheduled, with kick-off at 7.00pm.

With the change in today's schedule, gates will still open at 4.40pm. Full run down is as follows:

4.40pm: Gates Open
7.00pm: NRL Kick-Off - Bulldogs v Sharks
