Head Coach Des Hasler spoke with the media this morning to discuss a number of issues before the Bulldogs round 9 clash with the Parramatta Eels.

What do you make of Brad Arthur?

“He’s been very impressive. Given the climate, it always makes it even harder, but he’s got a really strong, solid playing group and they're playing some really good football. I think Friday night will be one of those really tough dogfight games.”

What have you made of the last month?

“I think we can rectify that. I think of all those games we’ve been in all of those games. We’ve been in positions to win, but we just need to get those options right.”

What did you make of Radradra’s selection in the Kangaroos?

“It was always topical. At the end of the day he just wants to play football, so we will see what happens.”

What do you make of the Bunker and the referee’s performances?

“Inconsistent, there’s one word. I guess it will come up for discussion at the Coaches get together. I think the technology is there, but I think the interpretation is probably the biggest issue.”

What do you think of the NRL potentially capping football department spend?

“I think that’s a big, big debate to tell an organisation to run their business. That’s probably a debate that needs to be had at board level.”
