Do you know a Bulldogs Member who lives and breathes the spirit of the Bulldogs –tough, passionate and the loudest supporter in the stands?
Three lucky members who embodied the Bulldogs spirit were able to experience Belmore Sports Ground on Monday, April 4 unlike ever before by winning these once-in-a-lifetime experiences:
Our 18th jersey recipient Maureen Huckstadt has followed the Club for 70 years, back to the days when the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs were known as the Berries. She accepted the award from Bulldogs legend Hazem El Masri as a representative of our members as the 18th player– the supportive extra runner and heart of the team that is our Members. Maureen’s willingness to camp overnight and travel interstate to different venues in and outside Australia to support her team truly captures the loyalty of the Blue & White Army.
Rookie of The Week
Joshua Pescud received the Rookie of the Week award for his passion for his team. He has followed the Club since childhood and attends each game dressed head to toe in all his Bulldogs gear. The Rookie of the Week award is presented to a first year member at every home game who sets the standard of involvement and dedication for incoming members to follow.
Home-Game Ball Deliverer
As our Ball Deliverer, Fotios Macras undertook the task of carrying the match ball out onto the pitch before kickoff in front of a cheering Belmore home crowd. Fotios has been a proud member for six years. When he is not attending games, Foti is a vocal Bulldogs supporter on our social media channels, always keeping up to date with the latest Bulldogs content and engaging as a follower.
Only Bulldogs members can be involved in these unique game day experiences!
