Bulldogs five-eight Josh Reynolds has today spoken with the media and discussed a number of issues heading into round 5.

Below is a wrap of Josh Reynolds’ media conference today.

What are you expecting from the Raiders?

“They probably want to come to Belmore and crash the party and ambush us like the Sharks did.”

“It’s going to be a tough game with their two halves back and they will have plenty of confidence with them back.

“I’m glad the two halves are playing because it’s going to be a massive test for us coming off the back of the Souths win.”

How much do you look forward to these halves battles?

“It’s definitely something you look forward to and you know it’s going to be a challenge.”

“I know this week with Sezer and Austin being back, you have to be on your toes. They take the line on and play really well to their backrowers.

“For myself and Moses it’s going to be a good challenge and they’re the ones you want.

“If you kick better than them or set the game up better than the opposition, it shows were you’re at for the season.”

Are you thinking of the NSW jersey?

“I thought about it way to much last year and in the end it got me the wrong result”

“This year I’m definitely just thinking about playing for the Dogs and forming my combinations with the blokes around me.

“If it comes, it comes.”

Did missing out on Origin in 2015 play a part in your season?

“You can’t blame that on affecting my form. It was all on me. My head wasn’t in the right space and I know that.”

“This year I’m getting asked about it, but I’ve got a different approach.

“I don’t want to go out on Monday night thinking I want to get my Origin jersey back. I want to be going out there on Monday night and saying I don’t want to let these boys down in here.”

What do you make of your current form?

“I definitely want to get a lot better and it’s very easy to say you’ve had a good game when your forward pack is rolling like they did against the Rabbitohs, but it’s definitely better than last year.”

“I’ve got a lot of things to work on and I really want to be consistent all year round.

“I don’t want to have three or four good games in a row and then have three or four bad ones. It’s about being consistent week in, week out.”

How impressive have the forward pack been?

“They’ve been unbelievable.”

“Other teams don’t do the things our boys do.

“They make my life a whole lot easier.”
