Head Coach Des Hasler spoke with the media this morning to discuss a number of issues before the Bulldogs round 2 clash with the Parramatta Eels.

How has Will Hopoate’s preparations been?

“Will gets on with his job. Nothing phases him and he’s really relaxed.”

“He really enjoys what he does and that’s playing footy.”

Thought’s on the Eels?

Parramatta have been outstanding.”

“They beat the premiers last week and they really hung in there for the whole game.”

“They’re going to be a really tough side and I’m glad we’re playing them early.”

Thought’s on Kieran Foran debut?

“I don’t think he is full tilt yet because the hamstring injury is probably restricting him a little bit.”

“Let’s hope it continues to restrict him for another week.”

Was it hard to leave Kerrod Holland out?

“He is understanding of it and he knows the ground work that Chase Stanley had done.”

“It certainly keeps the pressure on everyone and he has an outstanding career ahead of him.”
