Head Coach Des Hasler spoke with the media this morning to discuss a number of issues before the Bulldogs opening game against the Sea Eagles.

Is Moses right to play?

“He is fine.”

“He is all rested and raring to go.”

Will the new Interchange rule have a huge impact?

“It’s all speculation really.”

“It will only be really tested when you come across injuries in the game or when you are forced to make an interchange with the concussion rule.

“I guess it’s one of those things that you will have to wait and see.”

Have you changed your forwards training over the summer?

“They have worked really hard.”

“We haven’t changed to many things around.

“The players have responded and done well.”

Are you excited about the Bunker?

“It’s a great iniaitive.”

“It’s designed to improve and cut down on time, but like most things, it’s got to be tested and we have to be patient with it and we will see where it goes.”

What are your thoughts on the Sea Eagles?

“They’ve had a spectacular off-season and they’re certainly a different looking side”

“They’re an imposing looking side and games are always harder at Brookvale, so this one will be no different.”

Do you feel the pressure?

“There is always pressure involved in this game, but it’s part of what you do.”

Are you excited for Adam Elliott?

“He has worked really hard and he gets his opportunity.”

“The players are really excited and it’s always a great moment when you make your debut.”
