The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs can confirm that Tim Lafai has been released from the remainder of his contract and has today signed a two-year deal with the St George Illawarra Dragons.

Lafai requested a release last week after the club had signed representative player Will Hopoate. The club granted Lafai permission to explore other options, with the 24-year-old today deciding to join the joint venture club.

Everyone at the Bulldogs wishes Tim and his family all the best for the future and we thank him for the time he spent representing the club.
