The NRL have today released the Casaview Homes 2016 Draw with the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs to open their season against the Manly Sea-Eagles at Brookvale Oval on Friday, 4 March.

After what is always a tough encounter across the bridge, the side will then head west for Round 2 against the Penrith Panthers on Thursday, 10 March.

Round 3 will see the club host its first home fixture of the year at ANZ Stadium with a local derby against the Parramatta Eels on Friday, 11 March, in what is sure to be a huge night on the calendar.

The annual Good Friday fixture will again take place with the Rabbitohs this year hosting the match. Full season members will again gain entry via the reciprocal rights arrangement.

Members and fans can mark Monday, 4 April in the diary now, as the night we again play at Belmore Sports Ground. The match will be against the Canberra Raiders and will be the first of two matches at the venue.

Round 6 will be an away match against the Melbourne Storm on Monday, 11 April before the club take a ‘home’ match to Wellington, New Zealand, to play against the Warriors on Saturday, 16 April.

The Round 8 home match against the Gold Coast will be played at the family friendly time of 3pm on Saturday, 23 April, giving everybody the chance to see the side play in daylight hours.

Two away matches follow against the Eels and then Tigers but with both matches scheduled for ANZ Stadium, members will again have access to these matches.

Sunday, 22 May will give members and fans another opportunity to see the side in action during the day, with a 4pm kick-off against the side that eliminated the Bulldogs in 2015, the Roosters.

An away match will follow in Canberra will follow the Roosters fixture before the sixth home match of the season against the Sharks at ANZ Stadium on Monday, 6 June.

We will again play the Dragons on the Queens’ Birthday long weekend before then having our first bye of the year in Round 15.

The side will return to the field with a match against least years’ runners-up, the Broncos, on Saturday, 25 June at ANZ Stadium.

Round 17 the side will play the Roosters at Allianz Stadium before hosting the Tigers in Round 18 at ANZ Stadium on Saturday, 9 July.

The club will have their second bye of the season in Round 19 before then travelling north to take on the 2015 Premiers’ the Cowboys, on Thursday, 21 July.

The final six matches for season 2016 will be scheduled later in the year but will see the side take on the Dragons (H), Knights (A), Sea-Eagles (H), Broncos (A), Cowboys (H-Belmore) and Rabbitohs (H).
