Bulldogs.com.au catches up with Head Coach Des Hasler to get his thoughts and expectations from the team in 2016.
After finishing the 2015 regular season in fifth position, the Bulldogs were eventually knocked out of the finals in week two against the Sydney Roosters.
The season came to an end, but the impact of the Bulldogs' 18-17 loss to the Rabbitohs in round five on Good Friday was a significant turning point.
It was a disappointing end to the season for the Bulldogs who 12 months prior were runners-up to the South Sydney Rabbitohs and with the pre-season underway, Head Coach Des Hasler reveals what he expects from his side in 2016.
“We will definitely be in a competitive state,” Hasler said.
“We want to try and maintain more consistency in making sure that we are accessing our best players and making sure those best players are on the field.”
