The Newcastle Knights have named a 17-man squad for Saturday’s Round 25 match against the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs at Hunter Stadium.

The Knights have made one change to their side after defeating the Melbourne Storm in round 24.

Representative forward Beau Scott returns to the line-up after missing last week's match with Chris Houston shifting back to the bench and Sam Mataora dropping out of the 17.

The round 25 match will be the Knights final home game of the season and will see the club say farewell to one of their greats.

Captain Kurt Gidley will bring up his 250th NRL match this weekend and his last game home soil after 15 years of service.
