The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs have received a boost in their run to the finals with Jaycar Electronics extending their tenure as major club partner until the end of 2016.

“Jaycar’s main goal when sponsoring the Bulldogs was to raise awareness of who we are and what we do and it has been an incredibly successful partnership in that regards,” said founder Gary Johnston.

“Last year the Bulldogs were the most watched sporting franchise on free to air television in Australia and millions of people now know the Jaycar name as a result.

“The Bulldogs’ professionalism on and off the field and their commitment to community aligns strongly with Jaycar values and we’re proud to extend our relationship with them for another year.”

Since Jaycar joined as major sponsor in 2009 the Bulldogs have played in two grand finals, returned to Belmore, developed a high performance unit, played NRL games at Belmore Sports Ground and celebrated the Club’s 80th Anniversary.

“It has been a period of significant growth and development for the Bulldogs and none of it would have been possible without Jaycar’s investment,” said Bulldogs Chief Executive Raelene Castle.

“The Bulldogs are grateful for the amazing support and loyalty shown by Gary and his team over such a long period.  We look forward to finishing the year strongly and continuing to raise awareness of the Jaycar brand.”
