Lloyd Perrett has spoken with the media ahead of the Round 8 clash with the Wests Tigers and believes the spirit and morale at Belmore after the victory over the Sea Eagles is high.
While many outside the walls of Belmore believe the club will struggle through this period with key men out, the people within HQ know what is needed to get the results.
“We get a lot of confidence just from our coaching staff, the way we train and the way we are drilled,” said Perrett.
“We know if we get our role right within the team, than we can come away with the win.
“We understand how important the little things are and we get a lot of confidence from Des.”
His record speaks for itself, but if there is one man who can continue to get the Bulldogs up and ready for a game of rugby league each week, it is Coach Des Hasler.
“He knows how to say things to make us focus and pick up in the little areas that have been lacking and that’s probably why we got the win on the weekend.”
