Coach Des Hasler has spoken to the media today about his sides chances in their upcoming match against the Melbourne Storm.

The Bulldogs come into the weekend's game winning only two of their last eight games and after last weekend's performance against the Gold Coast Titans, many will think it will be a tough road trip for the Bulldogs agaisnt the Storm, but coach Hasler disagrees.

"You have got to understand when semi-finals come it is a different competition. Read what you want to into the Titans loss, you think we’ve lost confidence, I disagree.”

While many will give the Bulldogs no chance to win in Melbourne on Sunday, one thing that the Bulldogs have proven this year is that they can beat the Storm.

They have beaten them on two ocassions this year, a 40-12 win in Perth and a tight 6-4 encounter in Melbourne in round 18.

“One thing I will give this Canterbury side credit for is that they can apply themselves to big matches.”

Finals footy is a whole different ball game and if the Bulldogs can replicate the type of footy they were playing earlier in the season, they will give themselves every chance on Sunday.
