The seventh placed Bulldogs will head to Gold Coast on Sunday with one thing on their mind. Win and we are in the finals.

With two wins from their past three games, the equation for the seventh placed Bulldogs is simple:win against the Gold Coast and you live for another week.

But lose, and your fate rests in the hands of other results over the weekend.

If the Broncos and Warriors were to both win and the 'Dogs lost to the Titans, they would finish in ninth position, but a win – and losses by the Storm and Cowboys, the Bulldogs will secure a home final for Week One by finishing as high as fifth.

"We really need to take our A-game to the Gold Coast and come up with the two points and then focus on next week," said Greg Eastwood

There are still so many spots up for grab with at least 10 teams eyeing off a spot in the top eight, but worrying about those other teams is not the focus for the Bulldogs.

"We don't need to worry about the closeness of the competition. The result is up to us and if we play well and get the win, then we are in," said Aiden Tolman.
